Refund and Cancelation Policy for Purchased Tokens
ARELC is committed to student satisfaction. With an eye toward satisfying our students, ARELC offers the following cancelation and refund policy.
For each Course a student registers and purchases, he or she will receive one “Token.” The number of Tokens a student has purchased or has otherwise been given (through ARELC promotion), will be shown in the student’s Account accessible through the ARELC Website. Each Token will entitle the student to view one core or elective state pre-license or continuing education course in the real estate or other industry, which is delivered online in streaming video or “webinar” format (“Course”).
The student will have up to 365 days from the date he or she purchases the Token to commence viewing the Course. (However, some states may require course completion in less than 365 days. Please refer to the rules of the relevant jurisdiction to learn your rights.)
Once a student begins viewing the Course, he or she will have 30 days to view the Course in full. If the student does not view the course in full within the 30-day period, the Token will be void and the Course will be unviewable unless another Token is purchased.
Refund requests must be made by the student who registered for, and purchased the Token for, the Course. Refund requests made within 30 days of Course registration and Token purchase are eligible for a full refund of the fee paid for the Token. Refund requests made 31 - 60 days of Course registration and Token purchase will receive a credit in the form of one Token redeemable for any Course then offered by ARELC. Refund requests made beyond 60 days of Course registration and Token purchase will not be honored.
Tokens are non-transferrable. If a student cannot attend the scheduled Course due to emergency or other reason, the student may receive credit for that Token if he or she notifies ARELC of the cancelation at refund@arelc.comat least 48 hours before the start time of the Course. If a student does not e-mail the notice of cancelation at least 48 hours before the start time of the Course or does not otherwise attend the online viewing of the Course, the Token is non-refundable. No refund request will be honored if the Course has begun or if the Student has begun viewing the Course. ARELC does not provide partial credit for partially-viewed Courses.
