Registration
How can I register for a class?
Go to www.arelc.com. Click the Realtor and Broker continuing education more info icon, on our main home page. You will be redirected to a new page, click the "Register On-Line" Icon. Fill in each information box and confirm that the information you have entered is correct.
How do I know my registration is complete?
You will receive a confirmation at the end of your registration. You can also click on “My Account” and enter the email address you registered with. Your password will be the last four digits of your Real Estate license number. You will be able to view any classes you have registered for or have already taken.
My Account
What is “My Account”? When you register for a class or purchase a token an account will automatically be made for you with the information you provide. Your login will be the e-mail address you registered with. Your password will be the last four digits of your Real Estate license number. When you login to your account you will be able to view classes you have registered for, classes you have already taken and any purchased tokens you have available. You will be able to view if you have passed or failed any classes and print your certificates. To access your account click the link “My Account”
Parking
Is parking available?
Parking is available on Elston, Honore, Lister & on Webster under the Edens expressway bridge. Please read all parking signs carefully. The ARELC is not responsible for towed vehicles.
Is there metered parking?
Depending where you park there may be metered parking. Parking in front of our location, Honore, Lister & on Webster under the Edens expressway bridge is not metered. Please read all parking signs carefully. The ARELC is not responsible for towed vehicles.
Class
What do I need to bring to the class?
Please have a picture ID ready at the time you walk in to our facility as it is required by the state to check ID at the time you sign in. You will also need to bring your Real Estate License Card or Pocket Card.
When will future class dates be posted?
Class dates are posted as they become available. Class dates are posted by month. Classes will only be posted one month at a time. If you are unable to attend the class dates posted for that particular month, new dates will be posted for the next month one week prior to the following month.
Test
What do I need to take the test?
You will need your Real Estate license number in order to receive your credits. Incomplete information on test will delay the process of your credits.
What do I do if I fail?
Please call the office at 773-388-9000 to schedule a date and time to retake your test at our facility.
When will I know if I passed the test I re-took?
Generally the test is graded on site when you re-take the test.
What happens if I re-take the test and fail?
If you do not pass the retake test you will have to attend the class again and complete the test after the class.
CE Certificates
What will appear on my certificate?
Your name as you submitted it at the time of your registration, the date & name of the course.
When will I receive my certificate?
Your certificate can be printed from your ARELC account. To view your certificates click on “My Account” and enter the email address you registered with. Your password will be the last four digits of your Real Estate license number. You will be able to view any classes you have registered for or have already taken. You will see two icons; one will be for the ARELC and the second will be for IDFPR. Click the Icons to print your certificates.
General
Where is my Real Estate license number located?
Every Realtor and Broker should have received a pocket card that has his/her license number on it. If you are unable to locate your pocket card, you can request your Real Estate license number from your brokerage office. Below is an example of your Real Estate license pocket card. You will find your Real Estate license number located on the top right hand corner circled below.
